SINGAPORE, 28TH MARCH 2023 – Brown-Forman, one of the largest wine and spirits distributors, announced its collaboration with Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for its award-winning spirit brands, Woodford Reserve and  Benriach. The former is a premium Kentucky Bourbon that elevates occasions and enriches life with substance and style with its 200+ flavor notes, making it a complex and perfectly balanced bourbon, while the latter is a  Speyside Single Malt scotch whisky with an unconventional whisky-making heritage that uses eclectic casks from around the world and a rare, traditional floor malting distilling process.

Held from 26th to 28th March at the iconic  Resorts World Sentosa, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant event celebrates the richness and diversity of Asian cuisine.  This collaboration also reflects Brown-Forman’s commitment in recognizing outstanding restaurants, great chefs,  and culinary excellence through its artfully curated spirits across Asia by offering attendees an opportunity to savor the diverse tasting notes of its premium spirits for a complete epicurean experience. 

Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is the region’s premier gastronomic ranking guide, and this year marks the brand’s triumphant return to the island state as well as its 10th anniversary of running the premier culinary awards ceremony. The prestigious occasion will see chefs, restaurateurs, gourmet enthusiasts, and food writers from across Asia gather in Singapore to put the spotlight on the region’s culinary talents.

With its award-winning brands  Woodford Reserve and Benriach as official partners for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023, the event is in-line with  Brown-Forman’s efforts of creating unforgettable culinary experiences with its carefully curated portfolio of spirits.  

As part of the partnership, there will be the following activities to celebrate the occasion and collaboration:  

– 25th March: An exclusive Woodford Reserve experience with two of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant chefs at  Burnt Ends 

– 25th-27th March: There will be guest shift takeovers with Woodford Reserve and Benriach’s bartenders  from China, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand at top bars across the island 

– 28th March: During Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony, there will be dedicated bars from  Woodford Reserve and Benriach offering attendees a taste of the premium spirits. 

Woodford Reserve – A Bourbon That Dazzles Your Senses 

Woodford Reserve is a premium Kentucky Bourbon that aims to elevate occasions and enrich lives with substance and style. The fine bourbon was first distilled in 1812 at the Woodford  Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in Kentucky, USA, and has since won the Double  Gold award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013, one of the oldest and largest competitions in the world. 

With over 200-plus flavor notes, Woodford Reserve is the world’s most beautifully complex and perfectly balanced bourbon, much akin to the subtlety and complexity of various cuisines from around the region. Benriach – Seek the Unconventional

Benriach is an award-winning Speyside Single Malt scotch whisky presented in three different styles – classic, smoky, and triple distilled. The brand’s core products, The Original Ten and  The Twelve have won Silver and Double Gold medals respectively at the annual San Francisco  World Spirits Competition 2021, inviting consumers to a rich, multi-layered flavor experience.


Its unconventional whisky-making heritage dates to 1898, which includes the use of eclectic casks from around the world as well as a rare, traditional floor malting distilling process. The process is guided by Benriach’s Master Blenders, which results in a spirit that complements the discerning palates of gastro-travelers, who turn to Asia’s 50 Best  Restaurants for the best dining destinations in the region.  

An Exclusive Woodford Reserve Dinner at Burnt Ends

To commemorate the gastronomical event of the year, Woodford Reserve is collaborating with one of Asia’s top restaurants, Burnt Ends, to host a high-end food-pairing dinner on 25th March 2023. The collaboration will see two of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant chefs, Burnt Ends’ Chef Dave Pynt and Bangkok’s Sorn Restaurant’s Chef  Supaksorn Jongsiri, working together to create a gastronomical experience, and the dishes will highlight the 200+  taste notes of Woodford Reserve to create an unforgettable explosion of flavor for attendees. 


In addition, guest bartender, Eddy Yang, who is the Founder of Tailor Group and a prominent judge at many top cocktail competitions, will be creating specially crafted cocktails for the event’s guests. The dinner seeks to jumpstart  Woodford Reserve’s position as a premium bourbon that goes perfectly with quality food and how Woodford  Reserve elevates every dining experience.
