GuocoLand’s new large-scale integrated development, Guoco Midtown, has completed the Network Hub, Singapore’s first-of-its-kind purpose-built business and social networking club. The Network Hub boasts best-in-class business and meeting facilities to support the evolving needs of office tenants, such as hybrid working and collaboration. A host of social and recreational amenities complements the business facilities and further enhances the overall workplace experience at Guoco Midtown.

With the Network Hub, Guoco Midtown offers a unique work-live-play lifestyle that today’s workforce desires. In addition, Guoco Midtown also supports the mental wellness of office tenants by incorporating biophilic elements in its design and its various gardens and landscape areas.

To date, Guoco Midtown has achieved 90 percent pre-commitment take-up of 1 of its 709,000 sq ft of office space. Positioned as a ‘City of the Future’, Guoco Midtown will welcome a new “Midtown” community of more than 10,000 people daily – comprising business executives, residents, shoppers, and visitors.

The Network Hub is among the many ideas we introduced to Guoco Midtown. As Guoco Midtown continues its phased completion until mid-2024, we will activate more programs to make this ‘City of the Future’ even more exciting.”

Supporting work-liveplay lifestyles

Managed and operated by GuocoLand, the Network Hub is the focal point in realizing the future of work at Guoco Midtown. Seamlessly connected to Guoco Midtown’s 30-storey premium Grade A office tower, the Network Hub offers spaces for collaboration and wellness, and its facilities include fully fitted-out office suites for short-term leasing for tenants who prefer a fitted-out solution, and communal seating for hot-desking or collaborative work, soundproof pods for virtual meetings and focus work, as well as tech-enabled hybrid meeting and training rooms.

One of the highlights of the Network Hub is a large conference facility for up to 160 people that tenants can use for town hall meetings, annual general meetings, media launches, and training and networking sessions. Designed with a generous 5-meter-high ceiling, this conference facility also features glass panels that enhance acoustic properties, and large glass windows to allow for ample natural lighting.

Ms. Valerie Wong, Managing Director (Asset Management) atGuocoLand, said, “The Network Hub redefines what the office experience can be. As the owner and operator of the Network Hub, our goal is to provide our office tenants with access to a high-quality and integrated work–social experience that optimizes how tenants work and use their space, and how they engage with their employees, customers, and other stakeholders.”

The conference and meeting rooms at Network Hub support tenants of Guoco Midtown who are embracing hybrid and remote working and help tenants optimize their office space by redesigning it for other purposes. Tenants can rely on the facilities at the Network Hub when their meeting rooms and collaboration spaces are full, and their employees can also use the Network Hub’s lounges as buffer space on days when more staff are working. With hospitality-inspired design and operations at the Network Hub, employees can better focus while working in a professional yet relaxing environment.

The ground floor and Level 2 of the Network Hub feature members-only lounge areas to entertain business partners, host informal meetings or be used for hot-desking. Members may order food and beverages from Network Hub’s F&B establishment, Workspace Grains + Café by Cedele, or help themselves to complimentary drinks at Level 2.

Two large, fully fitted-out private office suites, each complete with dedicated entrance and signage, flexible meeting rooms, and a pantry, are also available. These swing spaces provide tenants with short- to mid-term solutions to respond to their business needs and meet changes in future space planning.

In addition to providing additional flexible spaces, the Network Hub also complements Guoco Midtown office tower’s fitness, wellness, and event facilities. On the rooftop of the Network Hub is a 40-metre lap pool and an exclusive private dining room that can host up to 18 persons. Tenants can also book the private dining room and the pool deck for poolside cocktail events for up to 100 guests.

The upcoming components of Guoco Midtown include two residential developments – Midtown Bay and Midtown Modern – that are expected to add more than 700 households to the Midtown community.
